The Republic Broadcasting Agency calls public tenders for the issuance of broadcasting licences on the basis of the Radio Frequency Allocation Plan. Proposed service areas the coverage of which is the reason for calling the public tender are publicised in the public tender.

The licences are issued to natural or legal persons interested in programme broadcasting via terrestrial, cable or satellite transmission, either digital or analogue, in the procedure and according to the criteria stipulated by the Broadcasting Law.

Public tender for issuance of licenses for RTV programme broadcasting for regions and local areas is in progress.
Reception of documentation has been ended on May 31 st 2010.

After reviewing the documentation, the RBA Council determined:

 the List of applicants to the Public Tender for the issuance of TV and radio programme broadcasting licenses for the regions and local areas whose applications are complete and submitted in a timely manner,

and the Additional List  of applicants to the Public Tender for the issuance of TV and radio programme broadcasting licenses for the regions and local areas whose applications are complete and submitted in a timely manner

on which the criteria according to which the Council decides upon the issuance of radio and TV programme broadcasting licenses are published.

To date, tenders have been called and completed at the national, provincial, regional and local level and the level of the City of Belgrade for analogue broadcasting.
